Our Holistic Approach
The stress and pace of today’s lifestyles place enormous demands on
your body. Over time, exposure to physical, chemical, biological,
mental and emotional stress can upset the delicate balance needed for
good health, leading to exhaustion and the overburdening of the body’s
systems.
Most people aren’t aware that, although we live in a
technologically advanced civilization, our bodies’ stress
response mechanism is no different than that of our ancient ancestors.
It is this disconnect between the level of stress
and our bodies’
ability to deal with it that causes most significant health challenges.
Disease
is literally a dis-ease in the body often occuring because the body's
stress response has been over-activated over long periods of time.
When we take responsibility for our health and trust our
body’s wisdom and nature’s design, we then have the means to actively
participate in both illness prevention and wellness restoration. This empowers
us to make conscious and well informed choices about the factors directly
impacting our well being.
In our work we look to evaluate the extent of the ravages of
stressors upon the body and support the body's natural healing.
